Mountains melt like wax before the Lord. It’s true. I’ve seen financial mountains melt – health mountains melt – etc. And those have been real mountains – factual issues. Sometimes though, I believe we build mountains in our minds – not based on fact – and those mountains we build, could easily be melted with honesty, integrity and communication. The partnership with the Lord comes when we ask Him for the strength and the truth. The strength to operate with honesty and clarity in communication. Truth, being, simply truth. We can psych ourselves out by imagining or predicting how communication will be heard. I believe that is a tactic of the enemy. My encouragement today is to recognize when your mind is telling a story, based on assumptions and ask Him to help you move it to truth. My encouragement also is to hear what people say, and honor them enough to believe them.
